A total of 159 individuals and companies have been selected to receive 1995 "My Boss is a Patriot" awards from the Oklahoma committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.

Awards are presented for outstanding support, well beyond normal legal requirements, of employees serving their nation in the National guard of military reserve forces.

Each recipient is nominated by an employee serving part-time in guard or reserve duty. Each "patriot" receives a special award and is placed in consideration for national awards. The awards are presented at the annual state Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve awards dinner in September.
