Victims of polio, the founding members of Israel Vibration met as children in a rehabilitation center in Jamaica. Finding strength in the spiritual messages of Bob Marley's music and Rastafari, they began writing their own music. Their harmonies and poignant lyrics drew international recognition in the late 1970s, but their financial success didn't keep up with their critical acclaim, and the band broke up in 1983. ...
