To dispel the criticism that law school graduates may know plenty
about res ipsa loquitur, sine qua non and in pari delicto but can't
find the courthouse, many states are turning to performance testing
as a way to measure real life knowledge.
Oklahoma is now considering the idea of adding a performance
component to its bar exam, but presently it has not implemented such
a program.
Performance testing is a practical component to bar examinations.
It requires examinees to demonstrate some level of hands-on
proficiency before being admitted to practice.
