Dewberry & Davis, a nationally-known architectural, engineering
and planning firm based in Fairfax, Va., has acquired all of the
outstanding shares of HTB Inc. of Oklahoma City, according to an
announcement made Thursday by company representatives.
The acquisition was first reported by The Journal Record in August
when it was learned that Dewberry & Davis officials were negotiating
to buy HTB.
Company officials declined then to confirm the sale, saying to
discuss it would jeopardize the sale.
HTB Inc. has suffered through public tribulations the last two to
three years over its role in the controversial Oklahoma County Jail,
but officials have said recently the sale to Dewberry represents a ...
