DENVER -- The mutual fund industry likes to warn investors that past performance is no guarantee of future success.

Still, some investors are prepared to dismiss those warnings when it comes to Janus Worldwide Fund. They're buying shares of Janus' global stock fund as though there's no tomorrow.

A net $2.2 billion poured into the Janus fund last year and a monthly record of $590 million flowed into the fund in January, the Denver-based company said. The fund's assets have more than doubled in the past year to $5.9 billion, up from $1.98 billion at the end of 1995.
