It took a lot of convincing, but Tracey Slover finally was
persuaded to get into the restaurant business as an owner-operator.
She and partner Teddy Mitchell now own Restaurant Acquisition
Corp., which last week closed on the deal to buy the Ground Floor
Cafe in Leadership Square in downtown. Slover is the managing partner
of the organization.
The other Ground Floor Cafe, in the Nichols Hills Plaza, is still
owned by the Cala Corp. of Oklahoma City.
"When we decided to go into the restaurant business, we wanted to
start rather small and get our feet wet before going into multiple
