There are two Oklahoma judicial districts with by far the most
judges.
In the Seventh Judicial District, which is comprised of Oklahoma
and Canadian counties, there are 16 district judges and two associate
district judges. The 14th Judicial District, which includes Tulsa and
Pawnee counties, has the next greatest number of district judges with
14 along with two associate district judges.
The Legislature, recognizing two jurisdictions with the greatest
number of judges, authorized two trial court administrator positions
in our state, one for the Oklahoma-Canadian Judicial Administrative
District, and one for the Tulsa-Pawnee Judicial Administrative
District.
