It's been 80 years since Republicans controlled the Oklahoma
House.
Members of the Legislature's GOP caucus are convinced they won't
have to wait another 80 years before Republicans control the House
again. Some believe it could happen as soon as this year.
A plan to take over the Democrat-dominated House has been
discussed within the House Republican caucus in recent weeks,
according to both Democrat and Republican House members.
While some details have become public, the plan has remained a
closely guarded secret among GOP leaders who refuse to acknowledge it
publicly.
