Members of Tribune's board sent questions to Southern California billionaires Eli Broad and Ronald Burkle about their most recent offer for the troubled media company, said a source familiar with the situation who spoke on condition of anonymity because the process is ongoing. Broad and Burkle upped their two-month-old bid Thursday. Broad and Burkle answered within hours, the source said.
