Article: Zambrano provides plenty of heat; Cubs pitcher gets off to good start

Henry Blanco knew early on that Carlos Zambrano was going to have a good day.

The Milwaukee Brewers received that same information a few minutes later, and it pretty much ruined their day.

Zambrano, the Chicago Cubs' No. 1 starting pitcher, struck out the first three Brewers he faced and retired the first nine in order as he helped lead the Cubs to a 6-3 victory at Miller Park and a chance for a sweep today.

"He had pretty good stuff right from when he was warming up in the bullpen," said Blanco, who caught Zambrano for both the warm-up and the game. "That's him, coming into the game, being aggressive and getting his thing done."
