Mike Noonan will be puttin' on the dog next week - tux, zoot hat,
some snappy black-and-white shoes. He'll skip the white gloves. He
says he can't eat popcorn with gloves.
Mike is a 24-year-old Waukesha man with Down syndrome starring in
"Something for Stevie," an independent, locally produced film about
a young fellow who, regardless of his disability, wants a job, a
wife, a good life.
He and his co-stars, all talent from mostly southeastern
Wisconsin, will get the red-carpet and limo treatment when the film
has its "world premiere" April 19 at Marcus Ridge Cinema at Moorland
Road and I-43 in New Berlin. (Stars appear at 6:30 p.m. and the show
