Estonia's government has began preparations to re-erect a statue
at a military cemetery after a third night of unrest that has been
sparked by the Soviet memorial's removal from downtown Tallinn.
Some 200 people were detained overnight in the capital and in
Narva, a city on the Russian border but police said the situation
was calmer than in the two previous nights of rioting, which left
one man dead and scores injured.
The defence minister Jaak Aaviksoo said the Bronze Soldier statue
commemorating Red Army soldiers who died during the Second World War
