DENVER - Larry Walker will have wait for some other time - possibly next season - to fight a reputation for being physically undependable.

Frustrated about Walker's sore-again, well-again right elbow, Colorado Rockies manager Buddy Bell placed the outfielder on the disabled list before Monday's game against Atlanta.

Walker missed 23 games earlier in the season when the beginnings of a stress fracture developed in the elbow.
