DENVER - Rockies fans said hello again to former Colorado hero
Andres Galarraga.
Galarraga, acquired by San Francisco from the Texas Rangers a day
earlier, accepted the warm ovation Wednesday afternoon, then went 3-
for-5 with a double and two RBI in the Giants' 9-3 victory over the
Rockies at Coors Field.
The Rockies finished their homestand 3-3, which is no great
shakes, but is the first time the Rockies have not lost a homestand
since compiling a 7-5 mark against the Giants, Houston, St. Louis and
Seattle from June 1-14.
There hasn't been much reason for Rockies fans to cheer the home
team, which is last in the National League West. So the fans cheered
