"It's the most important room in the house," said Zvi Barzilay,
president of Toll Brothers Inc., a luxury home builder active in the
Washington area and with headquarters in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. "All
of our homes come with family rooms."
Family rooms have outpaced living rooms, dens and basements to
become the most popular living space in America's single-family
houses, said real estate agents, home builders and homeowners.
