Spader, Riedmann capture state titles

Angeline Spader and Kyndra Riedmann emerged as Topeka's top finishers in the Kansas State USBC Women's Bowling Association championship tournament, which wrapped up six weekends of competition spread over two months on April 29 at Gage Center Bowl and West Ridge Lanes.

Spader claimed the Division 2 all-events crown with a handicap score of 2,391 and nearly won the D-2 singles title, finishing one pin behind Barbara Slagle, of Ness City, with an 830 series. In addition, Spader teamed with Cheryl Trobough to place fourth in Division 1 doubles with a score of 1,461.
