At rain-soaked Lambeau Field, Green Bay opens its 2001 season by
scoring on its first three drives.
Ahman Green gets things going with a 31-yard touchdown run, then
Brett Favre hits Bill Schroeder with a 23-yard touchdown pass to make
it 14-0. On the Packers' next play from scrimmage, Green bounces left
after being bottled up on the right side and races 83 yards for his
second touchdown.
Favre hits Bubba Franks with a 1-yard touchdown pass to cap the
scoring in the third quarter. Green rushes 17 times for 157 yards and
Favre completes 22 of 28 passes for 260 yards without an ...
