BAY VIEW

Burglary

A basement window was broken at Berts Beer & Liquor, 2523 E. Oklahoma Ave., in an attempted burglary at 11:30 p.m. April 25. A neighbor scared the burglar away. No merchandise was taken.

CUDAHY

Burglary

A cordless telephone, cash, men's cotton crew socks and a beach towel valued at $600 were reported taken from Packard-Way Cleaners Ltd., 5601 S. Pennsylvania Ave., about 7 a.m. April 26. Damage is estimated at $15.

A women's wallet valued at $50 was taken from the glove compartment of a vehicle parked in a garage in the 3900 block of E. Barnard Ave. between 10:30 p.m. April 26 and 1 p.m. April 28. Damage is estimated at $200.
