Christmas comes a little bit early with cranberry preserves

James W. Gales, Glendale, and Patricia Raddatz, Fort Atkinson,
sent recipes for fruit jam requested by Anita Mitchell, South
Milwaukee. Mitchell wanted a recipe for cranberry preserves that
could be used as Christmas gifts and a marmalade made with pineapple
and grapefruit.
Gales sent a cranberry recipe made in the microwave, which she
said she found in "The Complete Book of Canning" by Ortho
Books.Raddatz wrote: "Don't know where this recipe came from but have
made it for years. It is very colorful and very good."
