Figueroa goes on disabled list

Cincinnati -- Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Nelson Figueroa will
miss his next two scheduled starts after he was placed on the 15-day
disabled list Wednesday, and the team isn't certain who will take his
place in the rotation.
Figueroa suffered a sprained ankle while shagging balls at batting
practice Tuesday at Cinergy Field when his cleat caught on a rubber
strip on the boundary of the warning track. Brewers trainer Roger
Caplinger said Figueroa's injury would have caused him to miss only
his Friday start, but the team had to place him on the 15-day list,
retroactive to ...
