As sure as the sun rises and trees and flowers bloom, Wisconsin allergy sufferers are stocking up on tissue and medication.

Area health officials say pollen is already in the air -- and there's more to come.

"The tree season started in early April and will last until the middle of May, beginning of June, and is followed by the grass season that starts later in May and goes through July," said Steve Cohen, a certified pollen and mold counter for the National Allergy Bureau, an arm of the Milwaukee-based American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
