Your form letters may be giving wrong message

Almost every business uses form letters. Clients and customers need information, and the basic form letter provides that quickly.

We all feel the same letter describing the same information doesn't have to be created individually in order to respond to every request. Many of us in business see the form letter as our "friend." We see it as a time-saver. But, is it?

Before you answer that question, let me suggest an exercise you might find interesting, informative and very valuable.

Collect the form letters your company uses. Now read them as if you have never seen them before. Read them ...
