Whistling Straits' length gets players' attention

It was enough to make the biggest boppers on the PGA Tour wince.

OK, maybe Tiger didn't wince. But when word started filtering through the locker rooms of the tour that Whistling Straits will set up at nearly 7,600 yards for the 2004 PGA Championship, there were at the very least some double takes.
