Draw produces no-vote for MVP award
Many would be worthy; winner isn't chosen

This time the contestants already were millionaires, and the game
was "Who Wants to Be an MVP?"
The drama at the All-Star Game built and the likely winner changed
several times before everyone learned the final answer was . . .
nobody.
Fittingly on the night when baseball's Midsummer Classic ended in
a hail of boos from the disappointed fans, the 7-7 tie produced no
MVP.
More embarrassing for baseball, the winner would have enjoyed the
added honor of being the first "Ted Williams Most Valuable Player."
