Dane County widens housing starts lead
Madison area has surpassed Waukesha County's expansion

Fast-growing Dane County has solidified its position as
Wisconsin's growth leader in new home construction, leading Waukesha
County for the second-straight year, figures from data tracking firms
and builders associations show.
Myriad factors have pushed Waukesha County into second place,
including a desire by some communities to slow growth and preserve
what remains of the rural atmosphere of the similarly burgeoning
county.
