Bucher says group will donate $50,000 to help fund DARE

Waukesha -- Waukesha County District Attorney Paul Bucher hopes to
pump new life into the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program using
money from a private, non-profit organization that he founded.
Faced with the loss of $420,000 in county support for DARE, Bucher
has offered to contribute up to $50,000 from FACT-DARE, which he
established years ago using court-ordered donations from drug
defendants.
"We're moving in where the county was," Bucher said Thursday.
Bucher and his supporters hope to maintain the program in as many
county schools as ...
