Haggerty gala goes Parisian

Using an exhibit of art by Jean Fautrier as a thematic springboard, the Haggerty Museum of Art went Parisian for its annual gala on Oct. 25.

We found at least one authentic French individual -- Marie-Pierre Bechthold -- in the crowd, and noted that co-chair Dan Steininger quoted Proust and Father Bill Kelly's invocation was en francais.

Thank heavens for little girls all you want. This gala knows how to put kick into a Folies Bergeres chorus line. The can-can dancers were all guys (caught ya, Bob Pavlic!)
