Waukesha County judge has opposition
Becker will face former prosecutor in re-election bid for fourth
term

Waukesha -- For the first time in a decade, an incumbent Waukesha
County circuit judge will have re-election opposition.
Former prosecutor and state attorney general candidate Linda Van
De Water will run against Circuit Judge Marianne Becker, who has been
on the bench for 17 years.
Becker, 61, said Tuesday that she welcomed the challenge and plans
to prove to voters that she is qualified to continue as a judge.
Van De Water, 39, did not return a call seeking comment, but her
political consultant said ...
