Seniors finally get best of conference rival

Muskego -- This was a match the South Milwaukee boys soccer team had circled on its calendar long ago.

On Thursday afternoon, the surging Rockets turned anticipation into exhilaration. Motivated and relentless for the entire 80 minutes, South Milwaukee broke down a longtime barrier with a 5-0 victory over Muskego in Southeast Conference play.

"There was some extra desire to come out here and defeat them, because they came to our place last year and took one from us," South Milwaukee coach Steve Provan said.
