Miller Brewing Co., coming off another year of declining sales, may close its brewery in Tumwater, Wash., according to officials in that city.

If that happens, it would be a dramatic cost-cutting move by Milwaukee-based Miller, which has struggled in recent years with shrinking U.S. market share. It also would be the first brewery closing by Miller, the nation's second-largest brewer, since 1994.
