I'd like to thank the Academy for Michael Moore. And Adrien Brody.
And kissing. It's a pity the ratings for this Oscars telecast were so
low. This was better than most, a nice 2 or 3 on the maudlin scale.
And the stars were on their best behavior -- including Moore, who was
being the best heavy-set Midwestern rebel with a three-day-growth
beard he could be.
But, wait, there were more Oscar moments.
