As far as we can see, City of Milwaukee officials did nothing wrong in attracting the corporate headquarters of Roundy's away from the City of Pewaukee, where the firm employs about 200 people. And the fact that the company decided to stay in southeastern Wisconsin is good news for the entire region, as well as for city workers.

At the same time, it seems to us that Milwaukee officials could have been been a little more forthcoming with Waukesha County officials about what Roundy's was planning to do.
