With people taking vacations closer to home, Wisconsin residents
are fortunate to have an array of destinations a day or less away.
One such choice -- whether for a vacation or just a weekend
destination -- is the Lake Winnebago circle trip, just 70 minutes
north of Milwaukee.
With miles of scenic shoreline, Lake Winnebago stands out on
Wisconsin's map nearly as prominently as the famous Door County
"thumb." Wisconsin's undiscovered inland lake tour boasts rocky
cliffs, lighthouses, observation towers, superb local and state
parks, campgrounds, nature ...
