Journal Sentinel circulation rises

Increase attributed to intense focus on southeastern Wisconsin

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's daily circulation swung upward for the six months ended March 31, reversing a four-year trend.

Monday through Friday circulation for the period averaged 257,599 copies -- up 7,875, or 3.2% from a year earlier. Sunday circulation was 434,668, up slightly from 434,055.

The figures, reported to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, are subject to audit.
