Fans didn't deserve hike in ticket prices

The Green Bay Packers decided to stick it to their fans again.

For the fifth time since 1992, the Packers raised their ticket prices, this time by $4. In a span of just eight years, the price of the cheapest ticket at Lambeau Field has jumped from $24 to $50, an increase of 108%.

Listed below are some pretty good reasons why the Packers feel justified in jacking up the price of their product, followed by my rebuttal.

1. The Packers claim they are merely keeping up with their NFL brethren. "We were in the bottom third of the league with our ticket prices and now we will be in the upper half ...
