Find a household of bargins and enjoy at tag sales

Hackensack, N.J. - You won't find me at the mall. I get palpitations at the grocery store. But on many Friday and Saturday mornings, I'm shopping like there's no tomorrow - at tag sales.

Armed with the classifieds, my eyes peeled for cardboard signs taped to utility poles and windshields, I set off to rummage through the discards of suburbia (yard sales) and the worldly possessions of the departed (estate sales).

It's good, clean recreation. Parking is easy. There's no sales tax. Best of all, you never know what you'll find. I'd bet that I can go on eBay and sell the set of six ...
