Bride's misses opportunity with gay wedding piece

Believe it or not, Bride's magazine has made history.

In its September-October issue, Bride's published an article on -- brace yourself, America -- gay weddings. The article has been on newsstands for a month now and, amazingly, Western civilization has not collapsed.

The Bride's article was such a groundbreaking, earthshaking event that its appearance was covered in the New York Times.

"This is the first time that any of the five top-selling bridal magazines has published such a feature," the Times reported.
