Concealed weapons debate

In 2001, nursing student Robert Flores Jr. bragged to University
of Arizona classmates that he had gotten a permit to carry a
concealed weapon. In October of 2002, Flores carried five handguns
and 200 rounds of ammunition into the nursing school and shot to
death three instructors and then himself.
Of course, this episode doesn't mean that even a tiny percentage
of people who acquire a permit to carry a concealed weapon will use
it to blow away innocent people. But the incident does show that
allowing the toting of hidden arms is not all hunky-dory, as its
advocates claim.
