The fun never stops.

But it can hide.

Last fall, we were up to there in Bohemian opulence, with all those flowing, gauzy gowns, fringe belts and ruched peasant blouses. We were artists of the floating world, with enough cash to explore it.

Now, as the economy teeters uncertainly and the world turns ever more serious, it is time to get back to the business of living.
