More Americans watch infomercials than MLS

I have two announcements to make on behalf of Major League Soccer:

1. MLS Cup 2003 is Sunday. Tickets still available.

2. MLS is expanding by two teams in 2005.

You might've missed these tidbits of news because, well, like a billion people in China -- not to mention 4 or 5 billion others on the planet -- you really don't give a lab rat's per diem about MLS. In fact, I suspect many readers will be bailing on the column at this point since it's about soccer; nonetheless, I am prepared to go it alone.
