Bucher dumping unwanted cases on his peers

If there's ever a DA's football team, Waukesha County District Attorney Paul Bucher is sure to be the punter.

Why, you ask.

Give certain jobs to Bucher's short-staffed office and -- boom -- he'll boot them all the way to Milwaukee, Green Bay or Madison.

Upset with the governor's decision to cut three prosecutors from his office, Bucher has begun a letter-writing campaign to state and local officials explaining various jobs his office will no longer perform.
