Green Bay just keeps getting younger

Green Bay -- Contrary to popular impression, this city's recorded history did not begin with Curly Lambeau's arrival by canoe on the shore of Green Bay or end tragically on fourth and 26.

Even so, there could be more than a little confusion when an expected audience of 800 -- the largest assembly in city history not wearing green and gold sweat shirts -- kicks off the city's year- long birthday celebration.

For starters, the party at the Lambeau Field Atrium on Feb. 26 will officially mark the city's sesquicentennial, or 150th birthday.
