Man pleads guilty to setup of child sex crime

Waukesha -- A man pleaded guilty Tuesday to a felony charge that he used the Internet to set up a sexual liaison with an undercover sheriff's deputy he believed to be a 14-year-old boy.

Anthony Barnes, 40, of Muskego pleaded guilty in Waukesha County Circuit Court to using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime.

Barnes had been scheduled to stand trial in the case on Tuesday.

A criminal complaint says Barnes used a chat room to set up a sexual encounter with a Waukesha County sheriff's deputy ...
