Stormy weather comes a bit early

It's time to dig in the e-mail bag, and today's question comes from Marian in Brookfield. She feels that the severe thunderstorms we experienced in a few areas Monday and Friday were early for Milwaukee, but not for the rest of the nation. She also wants to know the peak season for tornadoes.
