Stop picking on government workers

Once again, the Journal Sentinel seems intent on blaming Milwaukee
County workers for the county's woes ("Making sick leave rational,"
Editorial Page, Feb. 24). I am employed by Milwaukee County and work
for my living just like non-county employees. I am also required to
live in Milwaukee County and pay taxes here as well.
Stop blaming us. We provide important services just like our
private-sector counterparts. We are commonly perceived as inferior.
