Barbara Schumacher, Waukesha, sent a recipe for a thin crust pizza
dough as requested by Rosemary Rose, via e-mail.
Barbara's Easy Pizza Crust
2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup
solid vegetable shortening 3/4 cup milk Vegetable oil to coat dough
Toppings of your choice
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Cut in shortening
until particles are fine. Add milk and stir until dough clings
together. Turn out onto floured surface and knead 12 times.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Divide dough into two parts. Roll each portion of dough into a
