Janet A. Cleary, Milwaukee, David Thome, via e-mail, and Sylvia Salmon, New Berlin, sent recipes for peanut butter brownies as requested by Cindy Curro, Milwaukee. Curro wanted a "heavy peanut butter brownie served in Milwaukee public schools."

Cleary wrote: "I was a supervising dietitian in MPS School Nutrition Services for 19 years. In my job, I was responsible for responding to requests from the public for home-size versions of popular MPS school lunch recipes. This was one of the most requested recipes. I hope your readers enjoy it."
