Cruise lines treat baby boomers to more activities

Smaller ships to take a younger crowd to exotic locales

When a big cruise line operating big ships on major routes opts to start cruises on small ships in exotic locales, that gets your attention.

That's what happened earlier this year when Celebrity Cruises announced plans to run cruises in the Galapagos, the Arctic and Antarctic using smaller vessels.

Celebrity wasn't downsizing, it was looking to the future.
