Brewers unable to get big hit at crunch time

Struggles in clutch a chronic problem

According to Brewers manager Ned Yost, clutch hitters are made, not born.

If that's the case, the Brewers need to start making some as soon as possible.

Hitting in the clutch has been a season-long problem for the Brewers, making it even more remarkable that they've climbed above .500. By going hitless for the second consecutive game Thursday with runners in scoring position, the Brewers' batting average in those situations dropped to .227.
