Bacon buns bring taste of Lithuania

More than 25 readers sent recipes for Lithuanian bacon buns as
requested by Lydia M.S., Greendale.
Shirley Slesicki, Rhinelander, sent a recipe that came from her
grandmother. She wrote: "This is how my grandmother, Antanina
Norvainis, from Lithuania, made her bacon buns."
She also added a quick fix version of the same recipe that she has
used.
Amy Mockert, Colgate, sent a recipe that included ham and bacon.
Most of the recipes received contained only bacon.
She wrote: "This recipe has been passed down from my Lithuanian
great-grandma. We loved these buns as children."
Joan Rack, Milwaukee, sent more than one recipe. ...
